How to Get a Recent Copy of Your Credit Report

Your initial credit report is a very important part of the Credit Restoration process as there needs to be a well defined starting point so an effective plan can be put into action.  There are several ways you can obtain your initial credit report and here are a couple of options for your convenience:

www.AnnualCreditReport.com

This is a government sponsored website that allows a consumer to pull all three of their credit scores one time a year at not cost.   This credit report is good but it will not provide you credit scores unless you are willing to pay for them.   We can work with the credit alone but the actual initial credit score will be important as well.

www.GetaTexasHomeLoan.com

This is an Austin,TX based mortgage company that is part of our preferred lending group.  They can do a free mortgage analysis for you and then help you complete a loan application and pull your credit report.  They can provide you with a copy of your credit report after it has been paid for.   They will pull a full mortgage tr-merge credit report with all three credit scores and this is generally the most accurate report you can purchase.   Please keep in mind that we are designed to help clients qualify for a home loan so we always recommend you start with a mortgage company that is well versed in less than perfect credit and can help you determine the best plan of action.
